Get Involved - SCRIP

What is SCRIP?

SCRIP is the easiest way to support many activities at Bach at no cost to you. Every time you swipe a linked Store Rewards Card or use a Store Gift Card purchased at face value from Bach, the business gives a percentage of your purchase to the PTO. The money is used to pay for programs and supplies for our children, teachers, and families that would not otherwise be funded.

Why YOU should use SCRIP

The PTO relies on Scrip sales to net the PTO $1000 per month, or about $9000 - $12,000 every year. We do this instead of asking parents to go door to door, hawking gift wrap or magazines so your participation is important. All Bach's children benefit, and all you have to do is your usual shopping!

What the PTO Pays For

  • Each class enjoys curriculum appropriate field trips, theater productions, and author talks
  • Every teacher receives funding for additional field trips and/or classroom supplies
  • Hundreds of family members participate in science, literacy, and community building events
  • Every family receives a school directory and bi-weekly newsletter



Find Your Grocery Store

Please obtain an Arbor Farms Market rechargeable gift card (comes preloaded with $20) either on-line with credit card payment or on paper with check payment. Add value to your card at the check-out before purchase, and tell your cashier to credit it to Bach.

Obtain a free card Please obtain a free Bach School Cash for Education Gift Card by e-mailing scrip@bachpto.org (will be sent home in your child's backpack) or dropping by the PTO Scrip Store.

Sign up for My Way Create your Busch's My Way account here if you do not already have one.

Link your card to My Way Link your Bach School Cash for Education Gift Card to your My Way account by logging in at www.buschs.com, clicking on the "My Account" tab and selecting "Cash for Education". Enter your 14 digit gift card number in the "Busch's Cash for Education Card Number" box and click "Register Card".

At the check out after your groceries have been rung up, simply tell the cashier you would like to charge your gift card for the exact amount of the groceries. You will be asked to swipe your gift card twice and then pay using your regular payment method. Bach receives a larger percentage when you pay with cash, check, or debit card.

Please obtain a Hillers rechargeable gift card by e-mailing scrip@bachpto.org (will be sent home in your child's backpack) or dropping by the PTO Scrip Store.

Kroger has their Scrip program linked to their Kroger Plus Customer Card. Use Bach's NPO number which is 82780 and follow easy instructions to link your card to Bach. See the Kroger website at www.krogercommunityrewards.com for more information.

Meijer has a Community Rewards program where they donate a larger percentage of your purchases to the school if you use your Meijer Credit Card and a smaller percentage of your purchases to Bach if you pay by cash or PIN debit card and swipe a Meijer 1 Card which is linked to our organization. See www.meijer.com/rewards for details! Our organization code is 794062.

Please obtain Peoples Food Co-op gift cards either on-line with credit card payment, on paper with check payment, or in person at the PTO Scrip Store. Certificates sold are in values of $25 and $50.

Plum Market has their Scrip program linked to their Plum Market Rewards Customer Card. You can join Plum Market Rewards by enrolling at your local Plum Market store. To link your card to Bach, simply fill out an Educational Scrip Transfer Form, and turn in to the Plum Market Customer Service Desk. List Bach PTO as the educational organization.

If you have a Red Card, Simply visit Target's website located at redcard.target.com/redcard to link your Red Card to our school. Bach's number is 60954.

If you do not have a Red Card, please obtain Target gift cards on-line with credit card payment or on paper with check payment, or in person at the PTO Scrip Store. Cards sold are in values of $25 and $100.

Please obtain Whole Foods Market gift certificates either on-line with credit card payment or on paper with check payment, or in person at the PTO Scrip Store. Cards sold are in values of $25, $50, and $100.
