March is Reading Month
by your reporter on the beat
Have bags of books from the library started to take over your house? That's how I know it is March, and time for March is Reading Month activities!
Kids turn in logs with the number of minutes they read and earn prizes to bring home. Some of you may have seen some prizes already! If you need more reading logs,
minute goals sheet, fascinating facts sheet, or trading card sheets, download them here
New this year is Read to Feed where the PTO will donate ten cents for every one hundred minutes the students read during the entire month of March to Heifer International.
Parents are invited to participate (this is in addition to the PTO donation) by filling out a pledge form to sponsor your child(ren) during the
read-a-thon March 19-21st.

Bach Family Pool Party a Success
Over 75 excited children showed up and splashed, laughed, and swam away the afternoon at the Bach Family Pool Party at Mack Pool last Sunday. The theme was pure fun for the
kids and relaxing for their accompanying adults observing from the pool deck.
A big thank you to Kristin Burgard, mother of first grader Katie
for organizing this event with Mack Pool!
