Enrichments a Big Success
by your reporter on the beat
Lunch enrichments, offered during lunch recess for all grades, are a big hit this year with students and parent volunteers alike.
Some comments heard from participants:
"I never knew yoga could be so much fun!" -5th grader
"That's because it is Yoga Meets Dance(tm)" -Natasha Schaffer, mother of Fiona (Kindergarten)
"I have fun with it!" -John Einhaus, father of Mark (4th grade) and Ally (5th grade)
"The 4th and 5th graders look like they really got a workout with John" -Erika Asbury-Montagno, Lunch Enrichment coordinator
"I have never knitted before and I'm doing it!" -3rd grader
"I feel fortunate to be able to arrange my work schedule to share something I really enjoy - knitting." -Tara Breslin, mother of Guy (2nd grade) and Zoe (Kindergarten)
We would like to thank the following parents for offering Bach's widest variety of enrichments yet:
Knitting - Keli S. and Tara Breslin
Basketball/Soccer - John Einhaus
Yoga Meets Dance(tm) - Natasha Schaffer
Dance/Movement - Kris Groh
Games - Wendy Valtadoros, Tricia Kalosa, Mary Beth Sheehan
French - Ann Padilla
Legos - Jennifer Edwards
Due to popular demand, the PTO will extend enrichments for the first three weeks in February. As a parent volunteer:

Heritage Festival is Coming!
Get ready, get set, and mark your calendar for the Bach School Heritage Festival on Friday, February 5th from 6-8pm!
Offered every other year, the Heritage Festival is a wonderful celebration of Bach's diversity. Receive a passport as you walk in, and get ready to be treated to
wonderful food from around the world prepared, donated, and served by Bach families. Booths from dozens of nationalities line the hallways with displays, activities, and
smiles all around. Be sure to catch the ethnic fashion show in the gym put on by Bach students wearing their national costume. The evening culminates with family
entertainment in the Multi-purpose room.
Entrance is free of charge. If you have any questions, contact Gail Einhaus at gail@einhuas.us
