Welcome Back to School!

I hope everyone who attended our PTO First Day Coffee, All-school picnic and Grounds Beautification enjoyed connecting with our Bach community as much as I did. My sincere thanks goes out Kelly Graye and Traci Novar for putting on the First Day Coffee, Kris Groh for leading Grounds Beautification, and to the fifteen volunteers (you know who you are!) who helped get ready for the first day of school by hanging signs, stuffing first-day packets, providing child care, and storing supplies. I look forward to working with the dedicated and wonderful Bach staff and parents this year. I hope to meet many more of you at our upcoming fall events!

Jefferson Market donated 250 cupcakes for the All-school picnic and they were gone in 35 minutes.

Last year we had 95% of Bach students participate in our Walk-a-thon fundraiser. Sponsor your child this year!

The millage vote coming up in November is very important to our teachers and the quality of our schools. Find out more about the millage before you vote!

In our first two weeks of expanding our SCRIP program, we totalled more than $2400 in sales, netting the PTO between 3% and 15% depending on the store. Our sincere thanks to Suzanne Kessler, Anne and Ryan Verhey-Henke, Amy Moore, and Wendy Valtadoros of the SCRIP committee.
